Service Description
Tour Overview: Average speed: 16 km/h Distance: 36 / 76 km Elevation gain: 290 m Tour Description: The tour starts either in Salzburg city or directly at your hotel or event location. We begin by cycling past picturesque Leopoldskron Palace, the historic birthplace of the Salzburg Festival, through the district of Gneis heading south. Via Grödig, we reach the charming Schloss Rif, before joining the Tauern Cycle Path along the Salzach river. This well-developed route leads us directly to Hallein, where we stop for a relaxed coffee break in the cozy old town. Recharged, we continue along the river towards Kuchl. From there, we leave the riverside path and head into more rural terrain – quiet farm roads and gentle climbs take us towards Golling, where we turn right into the Bluntautal valley, a true natural gem. The approx. 6 km path into the valley follows the Torrener Ache, along forest trails and meadows, framed by impressive mountain views. At the end of the valley, we stop – depending on opening hours – at the Bärenwirt, a rustic guesthouse in the middle of nature, perfect for a traditional alpine snack. If the Bärenwirt is closed, we’ll either stop at another cozy inn in Golling, or enjoy a picnic in the valley. For the return journey, there are two options: Relaxed return by S-Bahn back to Salzburg Or for those still full of energy: cycle back along the Tauern Cycle Path with scenic mountain views. Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy By receiving your booking confirmation, you automatically agree to the following booking terms. Cancellation Policy A cancellation free of charge is possible up to 7 days before the tour date. For cancellations 7 days before the tour, 50% of the paid amount will be refunded. From 6 days before the tour, no refunds will be issued. Cancellations must be made in writing via email. Payment Payment is made via invoice. The invoice will be issued after the booking confirmation and must be paid immediately upon receipt or at the latest before the tour begins. Additional Costs Admission fees, food & drink, and optional extras (e.g., teambuilding activities, tastings) are not included in the tour price and must be covered by the participants themselves. Weather Tours take place regardless of weather conditions. Rain is not a valid reason for cancellation. Only in cases of severe weather or danger (e.g., thunderstorms) can the tour be cancelled by Lamponi Events.
