Service Description
Tour Overview Duration: approx. 2 h (pure cycling time) Optional museum visit: approx. 45 min Team version: Hallein Scavenger Hunt Average speed: 17 km/h Distance: 35 km Elevation gain: 130 m Level: sweet Tour Description: The tour starts either in Salzburg city or directly at your accommodation or event location. We begin by cycling south through Elsbethen, before joining the well-developed Tauern Cycle Path. Near Puch/Urstein, we leave the main route and dive into the quiet, green floodplain area along the Salzach – a scenic section away from roads and traffic. After around 7 km, we reach the charming old town of Hallein. Here there's time for a relaxed stroll through the streets or a visit to the Silent Night Museum, dedicated to composer Franz Xaver Gruber. Of course, a stop at a cozy café is also part of the experience. For the return journey, we follow the Salzach cycle path north. A small but worthwhile detour takes us to Schloss Rif, before continuing through the idyllic Hellbrunn Palace gardens and along the Hellbrunn Alley back to the starting point. Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy By receiving your booking confirmation, you automatically agree to the following booking terms. Cancellation Policy A cancellation free of charge is possible up to 7 days before the tour date. For cancellations 7 days before the tour, 50% of the paid amount will be refunded. From 6 days before the tour, no refunds will be issued. Cancellations must be made in writing via email. Payment Payment is made via invoice. The invoice will be issued after the booking confirmation and must be paid immediately upon receipt or at the latest before the tour begins. Additional Costs Admission fees, food & drink, and optional extras (e.g., teambuilding activities, tastings) are not included in the tour price and must be covered by the participants themselves. Weather Tours take place regardless of weather conditions. Rain is not a valid reason for cancellation. Only in cases of severe weather or danger (e.g., thunderstorms) can the tour be cancelled by Lamponi Events.
