Service Description
Tour Overview Duration: approx. 4 hours Distance: 43 km Elevation gain: 330 hm Category: fruity Highlights: palaces, nature trails, local culture Optional: visit to the Salzburg Open-Air Museum The tour starts either in central Salzburg or directly at your hotel or event location. We cycle past Leopoldskron Palace, the historic birthplace of the Salzburg Festival, and through the peaceful Leopoldskron-Moos area along the Glan river. In Fürstenbrunn, a short but steep climb (approx. 15%, 250 hm) takes us along the foot of the Untersberg mountain. At kilometer 15, we reach the highest point (639 m above sea level), followed by a scenic descent. After crossing the former border at the Salzburger Bundesstraße, we pass Marzoll Castle and enjoy a break at a local café in the Marzoll area. The tour continues through the countryside via Käferheim and joins the Saalach river path, leading us gently back toward the city. Just before reaching Salzburg, we ride through the Klessheim Palace park and past the Red Bull Arena, returning to the city via Taxham. Helm required.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy By receiving your booking confirmation, you automatically agree to the following booking terms. Cancellation Policy A cancellation free of charge is possible up to 7 days before the tour date. For cancellations 7 days before the tour, 50% of the paid amount will be refunded. From 6 days before the tour, no refunds will be issued. Cancellations must be made in writing via email. Payment Payment is made via invoice. The invoice will be issued after the booking confirmation and must be paid immediately upon receipt or at the latest before the tour begins. Additional Costs Admission fees, food & drink, and optional extras (e.g., teambuilding activities, tastings) are not included in the tour price and must be covered by the participants themselves. Weather Tours take place regardless of weather conditions. Rain is not a valid reason for cancellation. Only in cases of severe weather or danger (e.g., thunderstorms) can the tour be cancelled by Lamponi Events.
