Service Description
Tour Overview Duration: approx. 5 hours Distance: ~30 km Elevation gain: approx. 150 hm Category: fruity Highlights: local breweries, scenic river paths, cultural stops This tour combines scenic cycling with Salzburg’s rich brewing tradition. We start in the city and ride south along the Salzach river to Kaltenhausen Brewery, one of Austria’s oldest breweries with a focus on traditional craft and regional beer culture. A short stop with tasting is possible (optional). From there, we cycle back along the river and through green outskirts toward the iconic Stiegl Brewery, where Salzburg’s beer history meets modern brewing flair. A visit or tasting can be arranged on request. The route features gentle paths, historic landmarks and optional breaks in cafés or beer gardens. Note: Brewery visits and tastings are not included in the base tour price and must be paid on site. Helm required. The tour can be customized on request. Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy By receiving your booking confirmation, you automatically agree to the following booking terms. Cancellation Policy A cancellation free of charge is possible up to 7 days before the tour date. For cancellations 7 days before the tour, 50% of the paid amount will be refunded. From 6 days before the tour, no refunds will be issued. Cancellations must be made in writing via email. Payment Payment is made via invoice. The invoice will be issued after the booking confirmation and must be paid immediately upon receipt or at the latest before the tour begins. Additional Costs Admission fees, food & drink, and optional extras (e.g., teambuilding activities, tastings) are not included in the tour price and must be covered by the participants themselves. Weather Tours take place regardless of weather conditions. Rain is not a valid reason for cancellation. Only in cases of severe weather or danger (e.g., thunderstorms) can the tour be cancelled by Lamponi Events.
